Grandma Richens' Funeral

Sadly my beloved Grandmother passed away on the 20th of December (I know it took me long enough to get this post up but it took me a while to get all the pics together). It was not unexpected. She went downhill quickly as of six months ago. I had enough warning. Therefore, I was able to visit with her many times before she passed. During her last week I spent a few nights taking care of her with my mom. the experience gave me the peace I needed for when she died. Although I will miss her I know that it was her time and that she is in a better place. I love you grandma.
Her funeral was on Dec. 26th. Here are the pictures. I included everything I took so that I can share them with the family.

Richens Family Christmas Party 2009

I know I am behind but at least I am getting it up. On the 23rd of December we had our family christmas party. We ate, played, and watched the video mom put together for Grandma's Funeral (see my next post coming soon). It was a really good day. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
