Settling Down (for the most part)

It has been a while since I updated this blog. After the last post we started looking for houses in Utah County so that we could be closer to Les' work. It had been extremely hard on the kids. We almost bought a house in Payson until we found out that a school in Springville has a duel immerson program for chinese. So we focused on Springville. We found a nice place within the borders of the school. We moved into it in Februray. Since then fixing all the things missed by the inspection has been our primary focus. Several thousands of dollars later things are better but not completely fixed. In order to fix things we would have to tear into walls and that really isn't on the budget. For now it works well enough for us to live here.
Other things going on since last here: 1- we got a dog as a Christmas present for the girls, 2- we got another dog to be a playmate for the first dog, 3- Emma was sad to leave her Kindergarten class in Logan but was excited to meet her new class here in Springville, 4- Les found another dog to bring home (that is right we went from no dogs to 3 PUPPIES), 5- Tons of unpacking to do, 6- Had a joint birthday party for all the kids (Emma turned 6, Khloe 5, Samantha 4, and Jacob is 1!!!), 7- Jacob started to walk, 8- We found out that Emma was accepted into the Chinese Immerson Program at her school, 9- Khloe got into preschool, 10- Trying to learn my way around Utah County (this is unexplored territory for us), 11- We got callings in our new ward (I am a bear den leader and Les is in the Webelos), 12- School is out for the summer, and 13- I had a girls weekend with my mom, sisters, and sister-in-laws last weekend. We have many more adventures yet to come while living here. We have our next adventure planned. Next month we are taking the kids to Disneyland, Sea World, and a few other places. One of which is Medievil Times for my birthday. See you on the other side.
