First Annual Joseph and Mary Perkins Family Reunion and projects!

We had our first family reunion with just my parents, siblings, and our little families.  We had a ton of fun.  Friday we celebrated my parents birthdays which are in August.  We did family pictures and a pot luck dinner.  The pictures will be posted on my hobby blog if you would like to see them - http://melanieshobbies.blogspot.com/.

Some of us went to the UBIC parade. 

We ate a nice lunch together, painted little craft items, raced toy boats, and shot at each other with marshmellow guns. 

That evening we gathered in the Vernal Temple to have Khloe sealed to Les and I for all eternity.  It was so wonderful to sit in the sealing room with my three beautiful girls, my amazing husband, our family, and friends.  There was such a feeling of peace and love.  It isn't an experience we are likely to get again so we tried to make the most of it.  It truly was heaven on earth.

Sunday we got together after chruch for another meal.  All in all it turned out to be a great weekend.

Yesterday, Les got us started on another project for my parents.  We finished it earlier today.  Here are the pictures:
