December is here!

So I had plans to try to post something for the 25 days of Christmas.   I might have to wait and do the 12 days of Christmas or something.  My biggest hang ups are: 1- My battery keeps popping out which then shuts down my computer (I'll explain in a minute) 2 - My camera cord is in Stansbury Park (I'll explain this as well)
My computer has this bump on the bottom of it.  I thought it was just part of the design so that my computer won't overheat.  It is partly that but what I hadn't noticed until last week was that it is my battery.  So if my computer moves in the wrong way on my lap (or anywhere else) this bump gets caught and the battery pops out.  I was looking at it today to see why this was happening.  Turns out the stuff that holds it in is broken off.  If you want more technical details you have to talk to Les.  So Les called HP to see what they can do about it.  So in the next few days a box will arrive to take my computer all the way to Texas.  Who knows how long it will be there.  All I know is that I am going to be very lonely without it.
Next my camera cord.  I was going to try to take a picture a day of the kids, Les, the weather, the scenery, or something to post.  Without my cord I can't download my pictures.  I know what you are thinging.  Just take the SD card out and put it in the computer to get the pictures.  I would but I don't have an SD card in this camera.  I have a Compact Flash card that I can't put in my computer.  I thought about buying a second cord to use as backup but I always loose that kind of stuff.  I need backups for my backups.
So I will get back to this when I can.  See you on the other side.
Oh and Welcome Home Bryan!  My brother is here from Afghanistan on leave.  I can't wait to see him when we go out there for a baptism.  Love you Bry.
